Barra de Navidad and Melaque on the Costa Alegre of Mexico have long been tropical getaways and a second home for Americans and Canadians during all times of the year. Mostly consisting of private homes and a few hotels, it is hard  at times to find long term accommodations. Especially since more people are discovering what a gem it is to be here. And that is where we come in.

We have a variety of accommodations in our inventory from studio apartments to luxury homes and we represent Mexican and foreign home owners who have a private (or semi private) home and they are looking to rent it. But we specialize in finding homes for people who are planning on staying 3 months in length and longer. The homes that we add to our inventory and we represent have to meet specific standards before we agree to offer them to our clients. These standards include well equipped kitchens, comfortable living space and well maintained facilities. They have to be places where we ourselves would be willing to live in.

When looking at our properties, note that the characteristics of each vacation rental home is listed next to the home. But if you have specific questions about the homes, please don't hesitate to ask us.

It is good to note that many times these rentals are booked many months ahead of time- and once rented that too will be indicated next to the home in question. But if you see that all of our homes are rented, don't despair, we may be able to still find you a unit since we at times have access to rentals that do not appear on our website because of one reason or another (for example,  perhaps it is a new unit or it may be something that is managed by one of our associates). Just tell us what you are looking for and we can investigate further.

 

Keep in mind that our inventory is frequently updated as we are asked to represent new vacation homes. So come back often.

In addition, a lot of the times these rental units are for sale. In our travels we also come across a lot of homes that are for sale but may not be listed with real estate agents. So if you are in the market for a home, let us know and we can help you find the vacation home you are looking for.
